Shanae’a Moore is a Musical Theatre Graduate of Sam Houston State University. She has a great passion for the performing arts, people, and God. She grew up in Juneau, Alaska, where she learned an appreciation for bear mace and the beautiful land that surrounded her. Since coming to SHSU to further her craft, she has appeared in shows such as The Jerome Kern Review, “Pirates of Penzance” and “Spring Awakening” "Hair" "Pirates of Penzance" Urinetown" and Helen in "Machinal". She also works in the scene shop building sets and creating a database of set pieces and props. Professional roles include: Luisa in “The Fantasticks”, Dinah in “The Philadelphia Story”, Laurel in “The Chalk Garden”, Dolly in "You Never Can Tell", and Beth in "Jerry Finnegan's Sister" at Unity Theatre in Brenham; Eva in "EVITA" at HFAC; Alice in "Alice in Wonderland", Annika in "Pippi Longstocking", The Bunny in "Goodnight Moon", and Lucille in "Junie B. Jones the Musical" at Main Street Youth Theatre; Swing in "Xanadu" at Stages Repertory Theatre; and Nora in "A Doll's House" at Classical Theatre Company.

She has attended workshops offered by her university, as well as attend the first session of The Performing Arts Project where she took classes from Jonathan Bernstein, Hunter Bell, Susan Blackwell, Dave Clemmons, Michael Meresca, Neil Patrick Stewart, Monica Raymond, and many many more. She intends to continue to hone her art through workshops and master classes, as well as gain as much experience as possible. The more she learns, the more she falls in love with making art through dancing, acting, and singing. Shanae'a currently teaches for Unity Theatre's summer intensives and the TUTS out reach program as well as private lessons.
Her dream is to uplift people of all backgrounds, and encourage artists to make revolutionary and unique art.
